The ride of life with Laura Andon

When Laura Andon asked me to photograph her learn to surf inspirational book in the Maldives, i had no idea of the adventure that i was about to embark on.

After months of organising locations and the finer details, off we went on a 2 week shoot to capture the images that would fill the pages of her beautiful book.

We had a big shot list to work through and 2 weeks to get all the shots we needed. We were on the clock. Our days were spent running laps around the island, dragging products and gear through the sand, climbing palm trees, and surfing the many breaks these islands have on offer. We took on the idyllic hot island days and made the most of the stormy ones. Everyone but us seemed to be on island time. After 14 days, countless surfs and thousands of photos here are a few of my favourites.
