Mikala is one of the few photographers out there who can capture true candidness in a perfect, professional shot. Her natural style is her greatest strength and not only does she produce beautiful imagery, she’s a breeze to work with. Of all the photographers I’ve had the privilege to shoot with in over a decade in front of the lens, she’s one of the most fun.

Mikala was professional, organised, a great communicator and got the shots! She perfectly captured the feeling I wanted to convey and my only problem was that there were so many great photos I had trouble deciding which ones to use.

Surfing in the central atolls on a charter boat has to be one of the best experiences of my life… until next time! Meeting Mikala there was great, so many laughs, and having another chick to surf with and who could also capture the moments on camera was ideal. I came away with many amazing memories, new friendships and great shots to prove it. I would recommend it to anyone, and I can’t wait to go back!

We have used Mikala for some specific projects and it is a pure pleasure to not only work with her because she is super organised and really into the work that she does but also because what you get back from here as far as finished work is more often than not better than what you had envisaged for the project when you assigned it to her.
